"We contacted RamEco Limited in 2017, our property was in much need of some TLC, it’s a different story today.  With external cracking render, water ingress soaking the walls and interior dampness, we had sought advice from an Independent Surveyor and a reputable Damp Specialist, receiving conflicting advice.  Our EPC recommended External Wall Insulation and we spent many hours searching the internet trying to piece everything together.  As any work would be costly, we contacted our Local Authority to see if we could get any funding/help and they gave us details of the original Green Deal Scheme list of Approved Contractors for External Wall Insulation and this is how we first got in touch with RamEco. 

 

Undecided, that all changed once Rob came along to have a look.  He measured up, asked all the right questions, put no pressure on us whatsoever and showed us samples of the Eco Friendly Building Materials and explained exactly how External Wall Insulation was applied and how it would benefit our home. Within a couple of days as promised, a quotation for the work came through and we were advised that we could get some ECO funding through the Electricity Companies which would be taken off the total cost of the work. 

 

RamEco gave us the confidence we were looking for to go ahead with the project. The weather was not always on our side, but once the work started, even though we are almost 100 miles from their base, the lads arrived on time each morning and worked continuously and professionally, their workmanship and manner are a credit to the Company. It shows very much that theyRamEco employ a workforce who will do the work to their expectations and to the standards that Rob works himself. The whole thing is kept together seamlessly by Liz in the office who communicates, follow things through and keeps everyone in the picture, as with everything things never go exactly to plan but any issues and an email or phone call sorts it all out. The completion paperwork and certificates have all been received safely.

 

Now finished, the effect of the External Wall Insulation is brilliant, it is warmer and the damp walls are already starting to improve, the bulging plaster internally is already starting to dry out and the walls don’t feel so wet to touch, also the external appearance of our property has been greatly improved. We are very happy with the whole experience and cannot thank RamEco enough for what they have done for us, it has made such a difference to our home.
