 Silicone, acrylic and quartz renders are usually called ‘thin coat renders’ because they’re applied in a very thin layer on top of a reinforced base coat. They are supplied as ready mixed, wet render that provides a consistent product that is ready to go straight out of the pack. Thin coat render has the advantage of being very flexible, providing good crack resistance and durability, whilst providing unrivalled weather resistance.  Heritage lime render is a traditional, breathable wall coating made from lime, sand, and water (often reinforced with natural fibers like horsehair or synthetic fibers) used to protect and restore historic buildings.  Unlike rigid cement render, it is flexible and porous, allowing moisture to evaporate from the masonry rather than becoming trapped, which prevents damp, mold, and structural decay in older properties 

 Thermal cork render is a sustainable, spray-applied coating made from natural cork granules (often combined with lime or acrylic binders) that provides thermal insulation, waterproofing, and a decorative finish in a single application.  It is highly breathable, allowing moisture to escape while repelling rain, which helps prevent damp and mould, and its elastomeric properties allow it to bridge cracks caused by building movement.
